Craving Guidance: Why We Stop Wanting To Learn.

Have you ever wondered when the shift between your actions and visions happen?  I imagine it being much like a cake receiving frosting for the first time; fresh, warm, and ready to become a masterpiece.

Guidance is a huge component to your overall success and progress. So many of us get caught up in our own understandings we stop craving the desire to learn or remain informed. In other words, we become “Know it all’s.” Our craving to be guided properly become more and more vague.

Can we blame this on anyone but ourselves?  Think about a time you refused to accept information because you felt you knew it already. What about taking a different driving route via the advice of a passenger? Not craving guidance is truly a trust issue. What we are telling ourselves while declining assistance is, I don’t trust your current expertise.

Far from uncommon, this character flaw, can prevent great wisdom from entering our lives. We all scream to the mountain tops, teach me, but do we really want to learn?  Your quality of life will increase instantly, when you realize, no the matter age, or circumstance, you must keep craving to learn, keep craving guidance.

Now we must be careful with all the guidance we take, sometimes others are just as misguided as we are. Having strong discernment will keep you own your toes in that regard.  Be a constant sponge, allow your energy to remain a vessel of receiving. Practice by stepping out of your comfort zone. Keep seeking your path, and constantly questioning how to learn more daily. We want to be our best selves all the time, but our best selves forever evolve. Remain optimistic and attentive to the guidance that is put before you. Most importantly, appreciate it, and value it
